- Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging procedures on patients using advanced equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Maintain knowledge of current industry trends, techniques, and equipment to continually improve patient care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
- Accurately record and document all imaging procedures and patient information.
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure availability for procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely imaging results.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current in the field of ultrasound technology.
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive experience at HOAG.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience As An Ultrasound Technologist, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Ardms Certification In Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, And Vascular Specialties.
Knowledge Of Current Ultrasound Technology And Techniques.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients And Medical Staff In A Professional Manner.
