The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and skills to provide technical assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to scrubbing, setting up and breaking down operating rooms, as well as sterilizing instruments and equipment. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in an operating room setting, and hold a current certification from the Association of Surgical Technologists. They must have a strong knowledge of anatomy and sterilization techniques. The candidate must have the ability to work independently, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with the surgical team. The successful candidate must also have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented and possess excellent communication skills.
