Job Description

As a Speech Pathologist at HOAG, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals and their families by providing speech and language therapy services to a diverse population. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping others and has the necessary skills and qualifications to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, experience working in a clinical setting, and a strong understanding of the principles and practices of speech-language pathology. Additionally, they must be a team player with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. We want someone who is excited to bring their skills and knowledge to our team and provide compassionate and comprehensive care to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients to improve their speech and language skills
  2. Evaluate and diagnose patients using standardized tests and clinical observations
  3. Administer speech and language therapy sessions
  4. Provide education and resources to patients and their families
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcome for patients
  6. Document patient progress and treatments
  7. Utilize current technologies and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
  8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest evidence-based treatment methods
  9. Participate in professional development and continuing education activities
