- Analyze revenue cycle processes and identify opportunities for improvement to maximize revenue and minimize compliance risk.
- Implement revenue integrity initiatives and monitor their effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of billing and coding practices to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with various departments, including coding, billing, and finance, to identify and resolve revenue cycle issues.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to revenue integrity to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to revenue cycle management and communicate relevant changes to the team.
- Provide training and education to staff on revenue cycle best practices and compliance requirements.
- Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and address any potential issues.
- Act as a liaison between the revenue cycle team and other departments to resolve any revenue-related issues.
- Communicate with insurance companies and payers to resolve billing and reimbursement discrepancies.
- Participate in revenue cycle meetings and provide insights and recommendations to improve processes and optimize revenue.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations in handling financial and patient information.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Management, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Revenue Cycle Management, Medical Billing, Or Coding.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Regulations Related To Healthcare Reimbursement.
Strong Analytical Skills And Ability To Interpret And Analyze Complex Data.
Experience With Revenue Integrity Software And Coding Systems, Such As Epic Or Cerner.
