Job Description

At HOAG, we believe that our Radiation Therapists play an integral role in providing quality, compassionate care to our patients. We are seeking a Radiation Therapist - Oncology to join our team and provide specialized care to patients undergoing radiation treatments for oncological conditions. The successful candidate will possess the technical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail necessary to provide a safe and effective therapeutic experience for our patients.

  1. Provide radiation therapy treatments to patients with oncological conditions as prescribed by an oncologist.
  2. Administer radiation doses according to established protocols.
  3. Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatment.
  4. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and outcomes.
  5. Maintain radiation safety protocols and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
  6. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive patient care.
  7. Educate patients and families about radiation therapy, its risks and benefits, and side effects.
  8. Maintain current knowledge of advances in radiation therapy and related equipment.
  9. Participate in continuing education and training to stay current on the latest technologies.
  10. Provide compassionate care to patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiation Therapy

  • American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Certification In Radiation Therapy

  • At Least Years Of Experience In Radiation Therapy

  • Knowledge And Experience In Oncology And Radiation Therapy Techniques

  • Knowledge Of Radiation Safety Principles And Regulations

  • Ability To Work Effectively With Physicians And Other Members Of The Health Care Team
