As a PTA, you’ll be an integral part of the physical therapy process, assisting physical therapists in providing care that’s tailored to each patient’s individual needs. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting, a valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and at least one year of experience as a PTA.
