
PBX Operator - Communications

In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing calls, transferring calls to appropriate departments, and providing exceptional customer service to all callers. - Manage incoming and outgoing calls: The PBX Operator will be responsible for answering and directing all incoming calls to the appropriate department or individual within the organization. They will also be responsible for making outbound calls as needed.
- Transfer calls to appropriate departments: The PBX Operator will need to have a thorough understanding of the organization's departments and services in order to efficiently transfer calls to the correct destination.
- Provide exceptional customer service: The PBX Operator will be the first point of contact for many callers and must have a friendly and professional demeanor when speaking with them. They should be able to handle all inquiries and requests with patience and efficiency.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills: The PBX Operator must have strong verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with callers and colleagues. They should also have strong written communication skills for taking messages and sending emails.

Excellent Communication Skills: A Pbx Operator At Hoag Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Interact With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Knowledge Of Pbx Systems: This Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Private Branch Exchange (Pbx) Phone Systems, Including Call Routing, Transferring, And Troubleshooting.
Multitasking Abilities: As A Pbx Operator, One Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Phone Lines And Calls Simultaneously, While Also Performing Other Administrative Tasks.
Customer Service Experience: Excellent Customer Service Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Pbx Operator Will Be The First Point Of Contact For Callers And Must Ensure A Positive And Professional Experience.
Attention To Detail: The Pbx Operator Will Be Responsible For Accurately Routing Calls And Maintaining Detailed Call Logs, So Strong Attention To Detail Is Necessary To Ensure Efficient And Accurate Communication.
