- Provide direct patient care, such as assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and performing routine procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Education Requirement For A Patient Care Assistant At Hoag Is A High School Diploma Or Ged Equivalent. This Demonstrates Basic Knowledge And Skills In Areas Such As Math, Communication, And Critical Thinking.
Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna) Certification: Hoag May Require Candidates To Hold A Valid Cna Certification, Which Showcases Their Proficiency In Providing Basic Care And Assistance To Patients. This Certification Also Includes Training In Infection Control, Communication, And Patient Safety.
