  1. Provide occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  2. Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' functional abilities, needs, and goals.
  3. Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and collaborate with the patient and other healthcare professionals to determine the best course of action.
  4. Utilize advanced knowledge and skills to provide specialized interventions and techniques tailored to each patient's needs.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
  6. Continuously monitor and reassess patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  7. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques, equipment, and home exercises to promote independence and improve overall functioning.
  8. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective care for patients.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current research, trends, and best practices in occupational therapy to continually improve patient care.
  10. Adhere to all ethical and professional standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  11. Act as a resource and mentor for less experienced occupational therapists, providing guidance and support.
  12. Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives.
  13. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times, promoting a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and colleagues.
  14. Meet productivity and performance standards set by the organization.
  15. Comply with all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
  16. Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner to patients, families, and the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Occupational Therapy, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Current State Licensure As An Occupational Therapist In California.

  • Certification From The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot).

  • Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
