As the Front Office Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our front office operations.   1. Oversee daily operations of the front office, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and answering phones.
  2. Train and mentor front office staff to ensure they provide excellent customer service and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  3. Serve as a point of contact for patients, addressing any concerns or issues and ensuring their needs are met.
  4. Monitor and manage front office inventory and supplies, ordering as needed to maintain efficient operations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  6. Implement and maintain front office procedures to improve efficiency and enhance patient experience.
  7. Handle patient complaints and escalate to appropriate parties when necessary.
  8. Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and support to front office staff.
  9. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information and appointments.
  10. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  11. Assist with billing and insurance processes as needed.
  12. Stay informed of industry trends and changes in healthcare policies and procedures.
  13. Act as a role model for professionalism, positivity, and teamwork.
  14. Continuously seek ways to improve front office operations and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and welcoming manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Prior Experience In A Front Office Or Administrative Role: A Front Office Lead At Hoag Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Front Office Or Administrative Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Will Ensure They Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Responsibilities And Challenges Of The Job.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Front Office Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Interacting With Patients, Staff, And Physicians On A Daily Basis. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Effective Communication And Building Positive Relationships.

  • Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records (Emr) Systems: Hoag Uses Emr Systems For Managing Patient Information And Appointments. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Proficient In Using These Systems And Have A Good Understanding Of Medical Terminology.

  • Leadership And Team Management Experience: The Front Office Lead Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Front Office Staff. Therefore, Prior Experience In A Leadership Role And Team Management Skills Are Important Qualifications For This Job.

  • Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills To Manage The Front Office Operations Efficiently. This Includes Managing Patient Appointments, Maintaining Accurate Records, And Ensuring The Front Office Runs Smoothly.
