
CLINICAL NURSE II - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

- Provide exceptional patient care: The Clinical Nurse II will be responsible for providing high-quality and compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team: Work alongside physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Monitor and assess patient condition: Regularly assess and monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition to identify any changes or complications.
- Administer treatments and medications: Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians to address patient needs.
- Educate patients and families: Communicate with patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and any necessary follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate documentation: Keep detailed and accurate patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Adhere to safety protocols: Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge: Stay updated on the latest advancements and best practices in emergency care through ongoing education and training.
- Assist with emergency procedures: Collaborate with the emergency response team during emergency situations and provide assistance as needed.
- Foster a positive work environment: Promote a positive and collaborative work environment by demonstrating professionalism, respect, and empathy towards colleagues and patients.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures: Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control, patient confidentiality, and ethical standards.
- Maintain equipment and supplies: Ensure that all medical equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked for efficient patient care.
- Serve as a patient advocate: Advocate for patient rights and needs, and ensure that their voices are heard and respected.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives: Collaborate with the quality improvement team to identify areas for improvement and contribute to initiatives for enhancing patient care and outcomes.

Current And Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of California.
Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Or Higher.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Emergency Department Nursing.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) And Pediatric Advanced Life Support (Pals) Certifications.
Strong Critical Thinking And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
