  1. Provide compassionate and exceptional care to expectant mothers throughout the birthing process.
  2. Collaborate with other members of the birthing team to ensure safe and positive birthing experiences for patients.
  3. Utilize specialized knowledge and skills in the field of obstetrics to provide high-quality care to patients.
  4. Maintain a patient-centered approach in all aspects of care, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
  5. Monitor and assess the progress of labor, including fetal heart rate, contractions, and vital signs.
  6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  7. Educate patients and their families on proper care during pregnancy and postpartum.
  8. Remain up-to-date on current best practices and procedures in obstetrics.
  9. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
  10. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  11. Advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  12. Provide support and guidance to new mothers during the postpartum period.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  14. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the birthing team.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of California.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Program.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Labor And Delivery Or Obstetrics.

  • Certified In Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (Rnc-Ob) Or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Nrp).

  • Strong Communication, Critical Thinking, And Interpersonal Skills.
