The successful candidate will be responsible for performing clinical laboratory tests on patient specimens to provide accurate and timely diagnostic data.The ideal candidate must be a certified Clinical Laboratory Scientist with experience in Microbiology and must possess a bachelor’s degree in medical technology, microbiology, chemistry, or a related field, along with knowledge of laboratory safety and quality control procedures. We require strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care. Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical laboratory tests on patient specimens to provide accurate and timely diagnostic data.
- Ensure laboratory safety and quality control procedures are followed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results.
- Analyze test results and interpret data to reach valid conclusions.
- Collaborate with other laboratory personnel to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
- Assist in the training of laboratory staff on new or updated laboratory procedures.
- Monitor laboratory supplies and equipment and ensure that they are up to date and properly maintained.
- Communicate test results to medical staff and discuss any necessary follow-up procedures.
- Participate in research activities to identify new laboratory testing methods.
- Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and laboratory standards.
