Job Description

At HOAG, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer - Purchasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and a strong understanding of purchasing and supply chain management. Additionally, they should have a passion for driving cost savings, negotiating contracts, and building relationships with suppliers. The Buyer - Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing new products, negotiating pricing, and developing long-term relationships with vendors. They will be expected to monitor market conditions, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure the timely delivery of equipment, supplies, and materials.Required Qualifications-Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field-Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management-Exceptional communication and negotiation skills-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills-Ability to work independently and within a team-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
