Stewarding Supervisor

1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the stewarding department, including scheduling, training, and supervising a team of stewards.
2. Ensure that the kitchen and banquet areas are maintained in a clean, organized, and hygienic manner at all times.
3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Monitor and control inventory for cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain adequate stock levels.
5. Communicate effectively with kitchen and banquet staff to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
6. Train and educate stewards on proper cleaning techniques and procedures, as well as company standards and policies.
7. Implement and enforce proper sanitation and hygiene practices in accordance with company and industry standards.
8. Handle and resolve any guest complaints or concerns related to cleanliness and hygiene in a timely and professional manner.
9. Work closely with other departments to ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and available when needed.
10. Collaborate with the purchasing department to source and purchase cost-effective cleaning supplies and equipment.
11. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to stewards to ensure high-quality service delivery.
12. Create and maintain records of cleaning schedules, inventory, and staffing levels.
13. Participate in departmental meetings and provide input on ways to improve operations and guest satisfaction.
14. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in stewarding and implement new strategies as needed.
