  1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the stewarding department.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure efficient and effective stewarding operations.
  3. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials.
  4. Train, supervise, and evaluate stewarding staff, ensuring high levels of productivity and performance.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coordination and communication.
  6. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and standards.
  7. Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the hotel.
  8. Create and maintain schedules for staff to ensure proper coverage and efficient use of resources.
  9. Manage budget and expenses related to the stewarding department.
  10. Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  11. Address guest complaints and concerns related to stewarding operations in a timely and professional manner.
  12. Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and team-building initiatives.
  13. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance the stewarding department's performance.
  14. Collaborate with the HR department to recruit, train, and retain top talent for the stewarding team.
  15. Represent the hotel and the stewarding department in a professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role In A High-Volume Food Service Environment, Preferably In A Hotel Or Resort Setting.

  • Proven Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Delegate Tasks, As Well As The Ability To Train And Develop Team Members.

  • Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Regulations And Procedures, As Well As Experience With Maintaining A Clean And Organized Kitchen And Dining Area.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Interact With Guests, Team Members, And Other Departments Within The Hotel.

  • Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Experience With Inventory Management And Purchasing Systems. A Degree In Hospitality Or Culinary Management Is A Plus.
