
Receiving Clerk

In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt of goods and materials for our hotel. - Receive and inspect all incoming goods and materials for the hotel, ensuring they meet the established standards and specifications.
- Accurately record and document all received items, including quantity, quality, and any discrepancies.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding any issues or concerns with received items.
- Organize and maintain the receiving area, ensuring it is clean, safe, and well-stocked at all times.
- Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts and reporting any shortages or overages.
- Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials.
- Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure all received items are distributed to the appropriate locations.
- Handle any returns or exchanges with suppliers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures when handling and storing goods and materials.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests and internal staff.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times, representing the Hilton brand to the highest standard.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy in the receiving department.
- Train and mentor new team members on receiving processes and procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
Previous Experience In A Warehouse Or Receiving Role Preferred
Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects And Stand For Extended Periods Of Time
