- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods and supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain inventory of all hotel supplies, including food and beverage items, linens, and cleaning supplies.
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfill supply requests and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies with deliveries.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all received goods and supplies.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of purchase orders and invoices.
- Ensure all receiving areas are clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures.
- Train and supervise other receiving staff members as needed.
- Communicate effectively with other hotel staff and departments to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs for receiving equipment or storage areas.
- Uphold the Hilton brand standards and provide exceptional service to guests at all times.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education
Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In A Hotel Or Hospitality Setting
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills
Familiarity With Inventory Management Systems And Basic Math Skills
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Packages And Operate Equipment Such As Forklifts Or Pallet Jacks
