Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.   1. Receive and inspect all incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  2. Maintain detailed records of all received items.
  3. Communicate effectively with suppliers and hotel staff regarding deliveries.
  4. Organize and store received items in designated areas.
  5. Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of items.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  7. Follow proper safety procedures when handling and storing items.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
  9. Assist with unloading and loading of delivery trucks.
  10. Coordinate with purchasing department to resolve any issues with deliveries.
  11. Keep track of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of items.
  12. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  13. Train and supervise other receiving staff members.
  14. Identify and report any damaged or incorrect items to the appropriate department.
  15. Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
  16. Stay updated on company products and services to provide accurate information to guests.
  17. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any guest concerns or inquiries.
  18. Adhere to all safety and sanitation standards in the receiving area.
  19. Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times.
  20. Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Receiving Clerk At Hilton Hotels Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has A Basic Level Of Education And Can Perform Tasks Such As Reading And Writing.

They Must Be Able To Keep Track Of Incoming Shipments, Maintain Accurate Records, And Ensure Items Are Stored In The Correct Location. Good Organizational Skills Are Crucial For The Smooth Operation Of The Hotel's Receiving Department.

  • Computer Proficiency: As Technology Is An Integral Part Of The Hospitality Industry, A Receiving Clerk Should Have Basic Computer Skills And Be Comfortable Using Inventory Management Systems And Other Software Programs.
