- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods and supplies, ensuring accuracy and quality of products.
- Organize and maintain inventory of all items received, keeping detailed records of stock levels and reporting any discrepancies or shortages.
- Coordinate with various departments to fulfill and track orders, ensuring timely delivery and distribution of goods.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues with orders or deliveries.
- Create and maintain purchase orders and invoices for all received goods, accurately recording all relevant information.
- Collaborate with the accounting department to reconcile invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures for handling and storing goods, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels and identify any areas for improvement.
- Train and supervise junior receiving staff to ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the management team to support the overall functioning of the hotel.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent.
Previous Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry.
Strong Organizational And Communication Skills.
Familiarity With Computer Systems And Inventory Management Software.
Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects And Stand For Extended Periods Of Time.
