Job Description

Review story requirements and translate to develop comprehensive testing strategies. Design, develop and deliver automated front end testing using Java with WebDriver / TestNG and automated service testing using Groovy scripting with JMeter / SoapUI /API. Contribute to Enterprise Test Automation Frameworks (when needed), ownership of consistently delivering highly functional and stable code. Deliver accurate estimates for test strategy, design and execution work. Contribute an understanding of distributed systems to configure test environments and complete test plans. Document, communicate and escalate test results and defects. Use Test Management tool to maintain automated and manual test flows. Use Jenkins / Maven / Git / Stash for continuous integration and version control of automation artifacts. As needed, coordinate activities between US and remote testing teams.

Job Qualifications

  • Hands-on engineer with ability to code in various programming languages (preferably in Java), JavaScript, SQL

  • Knowledge of Cloud based Web Applications Architecture and deployment technologies with emphasis on AWS Cloud.

  • Experience in developing Feature Files using Gherkins language for the BDD.

  • Hands-on experience in test automation development, using frameworks and tools like Junit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, Postman as well as REST/JSON APIs

  • Detailed understanding of concurrency, threading, algorithms, and data structures
