  1. Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, and breakfast items according to Hilton Hotels' standards and recipes.
  2. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other team members to develop new and innovative pastry items for our menus.
  3. Ensure all pastry items are consistently high-quality, visually appealing, and presented in a timely manner.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
  5. Order and maintain proper inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies.
  6. Train and mentor other team members, including new hires, on pastry techniques and recipes.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve pastry offerings.
  8. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Adhere to all food cost and portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as banquets and room service, to ensure all pastry needs are met for events and special occasions.
  11. Follow all Hilton Hotels' policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations.
  12. Exhibit a positive and professional attitude at all times, representing Hilton Hotels' brand and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Culinary Education: A Formal Education In Culinary Arts Or Pastry Making Is Preferred For This Role. This May Include A Degree Or Diploma From A Recognized Culinary School Or Apprenticeship Program.

  • Work Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Pastry Cook In A Professional Kitchen Is Required. Previous Experience In A Hotel Or Fine Dining Establishment Is Preferred.

  • Knowledge Of Baking Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Various Baking Techniques, Including Pastry Doughs, Breads, Cakes, And Desserts. They Should Also Be Familiar With Food Safety And Sanitation Procedures.

  • Creativity And Attention To Detail: Pastry Cooks At Hilton Hotels Are Expected To Create Visually Appealing And Delicious Desserts That Meet The Brand's Standards. Strong Attention To Detail And Creativity Are Essential For This Role.
