As an integral part of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for taking and processing orders from guests in their rooms, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of their requests.   1. Take and process orders from guests in their rooms, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to guest inquiries and requests.
  3. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with guests.
  4. Follow standard operating procedures for taking and delivering orders to ensure consistency and quality.
  5. Use excellent communication skills to relay any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
  7. Keep track of guest orders and maintain accurate records for billing purposes.
  8. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and in accordance with hotel policies.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a pleasant environment for guests.
  10. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies.
  11. Assist with training new team members as needed.
  12. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the In Room Dining Manager.
  13. Continuously strive to improve guest satisfaction by actively seeking feedback and addressing any concerns.
  14. Uphold the standards and values of Hilton Hotels and represent the brand with professionalism and integrity.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication Skills: An Order Taker Must Have Strong Communication Skills To Effectively Take And Process Orders From Guests. This Includes Being Able To Listen Attentively, Speak Clearly, And Convey Information Accurately.

  • Customer Service Experience: A Successful Order Taker Should Have Previous Experience In Customer Service, Preferably In A Hotel Or Restaurant Setting. This Will Allow Them To Understand And Anticipate Guest Needs And Provide Exceptional Service.

  • Attention To Detail: In Order To Accurately Process Orders, An Order Taker Must Have A High Level Of Attention To Detail. This Includes Being Able To Accurately Record Orders, Check For Any Special Requests Or Dietary Restrictions, And Ensure All Items Are Delivered Correctly.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Working In Room Dining Can Be Fast-Paced, Especially During Peak Hours. An Order Taker Must Be Able To Handle Multiple Tasks And Orders At Once, While Maintaining A Calm And Professional Demeanor.

  • Flexibility And Availability: As An On-Call Position, An Order Taker Must Be Flexible And Available To Work A Variety Of Shifts, Including Evenings, Weekends, And Holidays. This Requires A High Level Of Commitment And Reliability To Ensure The Smooth Operation Of Room Service For Hotel Guests.
