1. Perform regular maintenance and repairs on the hotel's heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure optimal functionality.
2. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC systems, including identifying and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
3. Monitor and document HVAC system performance to ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
4. Respond promptly to guest complaints or concerns related to the HVAC system and address and resolve them in a timely and satisfactory manner.
5. Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and engineering, to ensure the smooth operation of the HVAC system and minimize guest disruptions.
6. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed and provide regular reports to management.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and new technologies to suggest and implement improvements to the HVAC system.
8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
9. Train and mentor junior HVAC technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
10. Assist with other duties and tasks as assigned by the management team.
