Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Housekeeping Manager to join our team and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall satisfaction of our guests and maintaining the high standards of cleanliness that Hilton is known for. If you are a detail-oriented, organized, and passionate individual with prior housekeeping experience, we would love to have you on our team.

  1. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising all housekeeping staff.
  2. Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, in accordance with Hilton standards and guidelines.
  3. Develop and maintain a system for tracking and monitoring housekeeping tasks, such as room cleaning and maintenance, to ensure timely and efficient completion.
  4. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality standards.
  5. Coordinate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to address and resolve any guest issues or requests related to housekeeping.
  6. Manage and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and order additional items as needed.
  7. Create and implement training programs for housekeeping staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
  8. Monitor and control departmental expenses and budget, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  9. Respond promptly and effectively to any housekeeping emergencies or special requests from guests.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the housekeeping operations and maintain Hilton's high standards of cleanliness and service.
  11. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the housekeeping team, promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development.
  12. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures, and take appropriate actions to address any issues or concerns.
  13. Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback and coaching to housekeeping staff to maintain high levels of productivity and quality.
  14. Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling, payroll, and record-keeping, for the housekeeping department.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Housekeeping Management Role In A Hotel Or Resort Setting.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Cleaning Procedures, Products, And Equipment Used In A Hotel Environment.

  • Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills, With The Ability To Train, Motivate, And Supervise A Large Team Of Housekeeping Staff.

  • Excellent Organizational And Time Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize Tasks And Meet Tight Deadlines.

  • Familiarity With Hilton Brand Standards And A Commitment To Upholding The Highest Level Of Cleanliness And Guest Satisfaction.
