
Front Desk Shift Leader

- Oversee and manage the front desk operations during assigned shifts.
- Lead and support the front desk team, providing guidance, training and feedback to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, ensuring their needs are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a professional and efficient manner.
- Ensure all front desk procedures are followed accurately, including check-in and check-out processes, room assignments, and billing.
- Monitor and maintain the hotel's occupancy levels and room availability.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Assist with scheduling and managing the front desk staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Train and onboard new front desk team members.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, setting an example for other team members.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Stay updated on hotel services, amenities, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
- Adhere to all safety and security procedures, reporting any incidents or concerns to management.
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Front Office Manager.
Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Leadership Role In A Hotel Or Hospitality Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Professionally With Guests, Team Members, And Management.
Excellent Organizational And Time-Management Skills To Efficiently Manage Front Desk Operations.
Proficient In Hotel Management Systems And Computer Software, Such As Opera Or Synxis.
Familiarity With Hilton Brand Standards And Policies, As Well As A Commitment To Providing Exceptional Guest Service.
