1. Provide exceptional customer service to guests by greeting them warmly, attending to their needs, and ensuring their overall satisfaction during their dining experience.
2. Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
3. Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and other equipment.
4. Take and process guest orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
5. Monitor food and beverage inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
6. Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and drinks to guests.
7. Handle cash and credit card transactions, adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures.
8. Continuously strive to upsell and promote menu items to guests, maximizing revenue for the hotel.
9. Assist in the set up and breakdown of dining areas, including tables, chairs, linens, and other necessary equipment.
10. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with all team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
11. Adhere to all hotel and brand standards, policies, and procedures, including those related to food safety and hygiene.
12. Attend and participate in team meetings and trainings, staying updated on menu items, promotions, and any other relevant information.
13. Handle guest feedback, comments, and complaints in a timely and professional manner, escalating any issues to management as needed.
14. Continuously strive to improve the guest experience and provide suggestions for process improvements.
15. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of guests, team members, and yourself at all times.
