1. Research and analyze current energy and sustainability practices within the hotel industry to identify areas of improvement.
2. Collaborate with the sustainability team to develop and implement strategies for reducing the hotel's environmental impact.
3. Conduct audits and assessments to track progress and identify opportunities for further sustainability initiatives.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of sustainable policies and procedures throughout the hotel.
5. Help plan and execute sustainability projects and initiatives, such as waste reduction, energy conservation, and community outreach programs.
6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sustainability to inform decision-making and suggest new ideas for improvement.
7. Communicate with different departments within the hotel to ensure that sustainability efforts are being implemented effectively.
8. Create reports and presentations on the hotel's sustainability progress and present them to management and stakeholders.
9. Act as a liaison between the hotel and external sustainability organizations or partners.
10. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to sustainability practices.
11. Help raise awareness and educate hotel guests and staff about sustainable practices and ways to reduce their environmental impact.
12. Assist in the monitoring and management of the hotel's energy and resource consumption to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
13. Contribute to the overall success of the sustainability team by completing assigned tasks and projects in a timely and efficient manner.
14. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations and standards in the execution of job duties.
15. Continuously evaluate and recommend new ways to make the hotel more sustainable and environmentally friendly.
