
Assistant Front Office Manager

- Oversee the daily operations of the front office department, including check-in/check-out processes, reservations, and guest requests.
- Train, supervise, and support front office staff to ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Monitor and maintain the front desk and lobby area to ensure it is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and efficient manner, escalating to the Front Office Manager when necessary.
- Ensure all guest payments and billing are accurate and processed in accordance with hotel policies.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure smooth and efficient operations and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of front office supplies and equipment, ordering new supplies when needed.
- Assist with creating and implementing front office policies and procedures in line with company standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for front office staff.
- Act as a liaison between guests and other hotel departments to ensure all guest needs and requests are met.
- Handle any emergency situations or security issues that may arise, adhering to hotel protocols and procedures.
- Maintain knowledge of current hotel promotions, events, and local attractions to provide accurate and helpful information to guests.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the front office department, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting financial targets.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Lead by example and uphold the company's values and standards of excellence in all interactions with guests and colleagues.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Supervisory Role In A Hotel Front Office
Strong Knowledge Of Front Office Operations, Including Reservations, Check-In/Check-Out Procedures, And Guest Services
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills
Proficient In Hotel Management Software And Systems, Such As Opera Or Fidelio.
