Electrician
Installs, maintains, alters, and repairs wiring, power appliances, light machinery and electrical circuits. Installs, maintains, and repairs complex electrical and mechanical equipment. Installs electrical fixtures and appliances. Performs electrical tasks during construction projects. Locates and corrects power failures and short circuits using volt/ohm meter, infrared camera, and other related equipment. Performs electrical work on photoelectric cells, time clocks, electrical heaters, air conditioners, emergency generator units, air compressors, lighting controls, and other related electrical devices. Troubleshoots electrical related issues. Makes emergency repairs to elevators, emergency generators, and other electrical apparatus, appliances and equipment. Maintains and tracks inventory valued up to $10,000.00
Three years of experience as an electrician
Possession of a valid Driver's License
Ability to distinguish differences in wire, cable colors, sizes, and types
Knowledge of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
