- Conduct vascular ultrasound exams on patients to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular conditions.
- Ensure accurate and high quality results by following established protocols and maintaining proper equipment function.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans based on ultrasound findings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the vascular lab.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all ultrasound exams and patient information.
- Calibrate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and advancements in vascular ultrasound technology.
- Educate patients on the ultrasound procedure and provide them with necessary pre- and post-exam instructions.
- Work closely with the administrative team to ensure efficient scheduling and documentation of appointments.
- Adhere to all safety and privacy regulations in accordance with HIPAA and other relevant laws.
Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or A Related Field.
Ardms Certification In Vascular Ultrasound.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Vascular Lab Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Vascular Anatomy And Physiology.
Ability To Operate And Maintain Ultrasound Equipment And Interpret Results Accurately.
