Transportation Coordinator

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies to optimize our distribution network and ensure the highest quality service to customers.
2. Monitor and analyze transportation costs to identify areas of improvement.
3. Liaise with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
4. Prepare and manage transportation documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and shipping manifests.
5. Implement safety and security protocols to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
6. Monitor and track incoming and outgoing deliveries and shipments.
7. Analyze data and develop reports to support decision making.
8. Maintain relationships and negotiate contracts with carriers and suppliers.
9. Resolve any customer service issues regarding transportation and logistics.
10. Provide customer support and troubleshoot transportation-related problems.
