  1. Maintain and monitor the performance and availability of Highmark Health's IT systems.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with the systems.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new systems and upgrades.
  4. Develop and implement best practices for system maintenance and optimization.
  5. Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies.
  6. Conduct regular system audits to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  7. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in systems engineering.
  9. Continuously assess and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes.
  10. Act as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders to ensure the systems meet business needs and requirements.
  11. Document and maintain system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  12. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to system emergencies as needed.
  13. Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline processes.
  14. Train and mentor junior team members as needed.
  15. Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers for system maintenance and support.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Systems Administration, Operations, Or Engineering.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Operating Systems Such As Linux, Unix, And Windows.

  • Experience With Virtualization Technologies, Such As Vmware Or Hyper-V.

  • Excellent Troubleshooting Skills And The Ability To Quickly Identify And Resolve Technical Issues.
