  1. Provide support to surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures.
  2. Prepare and maintain surgical equipment and supplies.
  3. Ensure a safe and sterile environment in the operating room.
  4. Assist with positioning and prepping patients for surgery.
  5. Anticipate the needs of surgeons during procedures and provide necessary instruments and supplies.

Job Qualifications

  • Completion Of An Accredited Surgical Technologist Program: To Qualify For A Surgical Technologist Job At Highmark Health, Candidates Must Have Completed A Formal Training Program From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Education And Training In Surgical Techniques, Instruments, And Procedures.

  • Certification As A Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst): Highmark Health Requires All Surgical Technologist Candidates To Be Certified By The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa).
