1. Support the Community Affairs team in planning and executing community events and initiatives in Central Pennsylvania.
2. Assist in building and maintaining relationships with community organizations, leaders, and stakeholders.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement community engagement strategies.
4. Conduct research and gather data to support the development of community outreach programs.
5. Help coordinate volunteer efforts and engage employees in community service opportunities.
6. Create and maintain databases and records to track community involvement and impact.
7. Represent Highmark Health at community events and serve as a brand ambassador.
8. Assist in the creation of marketing materials and communications to promote community events and initiatives.
9. Provide administrative support to the Community Affairs team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining records.
10. Attend meetings and trainings to learn about the healthcare industry and how it intersects with community affairs.
11. Act as a liaison between Highmark Health and community partners, responding to inquiries and providing support as needed.
