- Support the Community Affairs team in planning and executing events and initiatives to promote health and wellness in the community.
- Conduct research and provide insights on current community health needs and trends.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop partnerships and identify opportunities for community engagement.
- Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials to promote community events and programs.
- Manage social media accounts and website content related to community affairs.
- Act as a liaison between Highmark Health and community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders.
- Help coordinate volunteer opportunities for employees to give back to the community.
- Attend community events and represent Highmark Health in a professional manner.
- Provide administrative support to the Community Affairs team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and maintaining records.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas for community outreach.
- Maintain a positive and proactive attitude while representing Highmark Health in the community.
- Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
Currently Enrolled As An Undergraduate Student In A Related Field Such As Public Policy, Social Work, Or Community Health.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills With The Ability To Work With Diverse Groups Of Individuals.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Community Outreach And Engagement Strategies.
Previous Experience Volunteering Or Working In A Community-Based Organization Or Non-Profit.
Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Other Relevant Software Programs.
