
Senior Clinical & Population Health Analyst
Highmark Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Clinical & Population Health Analyst to join our team. This position will be responsible for driving meaningful insights into clinical and population health data to help drive data-driven decisions that improve patient outcomes, and ultimately, reduce health care costs. The ideal candidate should have a track record of success in data-driven healthcare analytics and a passion for utilizing data to drive positive change. Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or Statistics• Five or more years of experience in healthcare analytics, data analysis, or a related field• Thorough understanding of healthcare data sources, including claims, clinical, and population health• Experience in developing and using data-driven models for healthcare decision-making• Strong quantitative analysis skills and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, or SQL• Excellent communication and presentation skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze clinical and population health data to identify trends and correlations that can help inform strategic and tactical healthcare decisions.
- Develop and maintain data-driven models for healthcare decision-making.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, or SQL to analyze healthcare data sources.
- Design and execute data analysis projects to drive meaningful insights into patient outcomes and healthcare costs.
- Present data-driven insights to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Develop reports and dashboards to help track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain documentation for data analysis processes and results.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Stay up-to-date on healthcare industry trends and best practices.
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
