
Research Compliance Specialist
Highmark Health is looking for an experienced and motivated Research Compliance Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that research activities conducted by Highmark Health are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies. You'll provide guidance and oversight to research investigators and staff, and work to create a culture of compliance.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Law, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in research compliance. You must also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain research compliance policies and procedures to ensure Highmark Health is compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Provide guidance and oversight to research investigators and staff to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Monitor research activities for compliance and provide feedback and recommendations to research investigators and staff.
- Ensure research data is collected, stored, and reported in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Prepare and submit reports to external agencies as necessary.
- Create a culture of compliance by providing education and training to research investigators and staff.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Stay up to date with changes in the research compliance environment and ensure Highmark Health is in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and organizations to ensure compliance.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve research compliance.
