Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
2. Assist in the delivery of newborns and provide postpartum care to new mothers.
3. Monitor and assess the health status of patients and report any changes or concerns to the attending physician.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
5. Educate patients and their families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care.
6. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for patients.
8. Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulations.
9. Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care as needed.
10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on best practices and advancements in labor and delivery care.
11. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families during the labor and delivery process.
12. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the Labor & Delivery team.
13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
14. Identify and report any potential safety hazards or incidents in the unit.
15. Continuously assess and improve the quality of care provided to patients.
