  1. Provide compassionate and dedicated patient care to individuals recovering from acute injuries and illnesses in the Acute Rehab unit.
  2. Utilize excellent clinical skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
  3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create individualized treatment plans for patients.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and response to treatments.
  5. Utilize strong communication skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  6. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  7. Continuously educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
  8. Advocate for patients and assist in coordinating care with other healthcare providers.
  9. Maintain accurate and thorough medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
  10. Stay up-to-date on medical advancements and implement evidence-based practices in patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution: A Strong Educational Background Is Essential For A Registered Nurse In An Acute Rehab Setting. A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Provides A Solid Foundation In Nursing Theory And Practice, And Prepares Nurses For The Complex And Fast-Paced Environment Of Acute Rehab.

  • Active Rn License In The State Of Practice: All Registered Nurses Must Hold A Current And Active Rn License In The State They Are Practicing In. This Ensures That They Are Up-To-Date On The Latest Regulations And Standards Of Practice In Their State.

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Acute Care Experience: Prior Experience In An Acute Care Setting Is Highly Desirable For A Registered Nurse In Acute Rehab. This Experience Provides Nurses With The Skills And Knowledge Needed To Manage Complex And Critically Ill Patients.

  • Bls And Acls Certifications: Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Essential For A Registered Nurse In Acute Rehab. These Certifications Demonstrate Proficiency In Emergency Response And Life-Saving Techniques, Which Are Crucial In A Fast-Paced And Unpredictable Environment.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: Effective Communication And Critical Thinking Are Essential For A Registered Nurse In Acute Rehab. They Must Be Able To Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team, Communicate Effectively With Patients And Families, And Think Quickly And Critically In Emergency Situations.
