Job Description

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced Radiology Imaging Aide to join our team. We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills, a patient-focused attitude, and a commitment to providing quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of diagnostic imaging and have a current certification in radiologic technology. This position requires a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills who will provide courteous, efficient, and accurate radiology services. The Radiology Imaging Aide will work with radiologists and other healthcare providers to provide the highest level of patient care. Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain current certification in radiologic technology and stay up-to-date with diagnostic imaging procedures.
  2. Provide courteous, efficient, and accurate radiology services.
  3. Interact with patients in a professional and compassionate manner.
  4. Operate imaging equipment in accordance with established guidelines and safety protocols.
  5. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
  6. Follow radiologist instructions for specific imaging procedures.
  7. Monitor patients during imaging processes to ensure their safety and comfort.
  8. Maintain clean and safe working environment.
  9. Assist radiologists and other healthcare providers with patient care.
  10. Monitor and maintain imaging supplies and equipment.
  11. Document patient information and imaging results in patient charts.
  12. Follow established policies and procedures for patient care and safety.
