- Conduct sleep studies: Perform overnight diagnostic and therapeutic polysomnograms, MSLTs, and MWTs according to established protocols and procedures.
- Collect and analyze data: Accurately record and analyze physiological data including EEG, ECG, EMG, EOG, respiratory parameters, and oxygen saturation.
- Interpret results: Review and interpret sleep study results, recognizing and reporting any abnormalities or changes in the patient's sleep patterns.
- Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with sleep disorders.
- Maintain equipment: Ensure proper setup, calibration, and maintenance of all sleep study equipment and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
- Educate patients: Provide education to patients on the sleep study process, equipment used, and any necessary lifestyle modifications to improve sleep quality.
- Document and report: Accurately document patient information and test results, and prepare detailed reports for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Follow safety protocols: Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends: Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of sleep medicine by attending conferences, workshops, and continuing education courses.
- Maintain confidentiality: Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and protect patient privacy at all times.
- Assist with quality improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience and improve the accuracy and efficiency of sleep studies.
- Demonstrate professionalism: Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Adhere to policies and procedures: Follow all company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards, to ensure compliance and maintain a high level of patient care.

Certified Polysomnographic Technologist (Cpsgt) Or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Rpsgt) Certification From The Board Of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (Brpt).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Conducting And Scoring Sleep Studies, Preferably In A Clinical Setting.
Knowledge Of And Ability To Operate Various Sleep Monitoring Equipment, Including Polysomnography Units, Oximeters, And Cpap Devices.
Strong Understanding Of Sleep Disorders, Their Diagnostic Criteria, And Treatment Options.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.
