  1. Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanor upon arrival to our facilities.
  2. Coordinate patient registration and ensure accuracy of demographic and insurance information.
  3. Communicate with patients and their families to obtain necessary information and answer any questions or concerns.
  4. Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for services.
  5. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring availability and proper documentation.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth flow of patient intake and registration.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  8. Process and collect patient payments, including insurance co-pays and deductibles.
  9. Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and staff to resolve any registration issues or discrepancies.
  10. Keep accurate and organized records of patient information and registration processes.
  11. Continuously monitor and update patient wait times to ensure efficient patient flow.
  12. Provide excellent customer service and address any patient complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  13. Stay informed about insurance changes, coding updates, and other industry changes that may affect patient registration processes.
  14. Train and assist new staff members to ensure they are familiar with registration processes and procedures.
  15. Maintain a positive and collaborative attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Required, With Preference For Candidates With Some College Coursework In Healthcare Administration Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Patient Registration Or Access Role.

  • Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Verification, And Patient Registration Processes.

  • Proven Customer Service And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Handle Sensitive And Confidential Information With Professionalism And Discretion.

  • Proficiency In Computer Skills And Experience With Electronic Medical Record Systems, With The Ability To Navigate And Input Data Accurately And Efficiently.
