  1. Perform MRI scans on patients, following established protocols and safety guidelines.
  2. Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
  3. Obtain and record patient medical history and pertinent information for each scan.
  4. Explain procedures to patients and ensure their comfort and safety during the scan.
  5. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions and respond accordingly.
  6. Review and analyze images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed.
  7. Communicate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient cases and findings.
  8. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  9. Stay up-to-date on advancements in MRI technology and participate in training and education opportunities.
  10. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  11. Adhere to all safety protocols and follow infection control procedures.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures and patient information.
  13. Assist with scheduling and coordination of patient appointments.
  14. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure patient satisfaction.
  15. Adhere to all Highmark Health policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field

  • Certification By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri)

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist

  • Strong Knowledge Of Mri Equipment, Safety Protocols, And Image Quality Assurance

  • Excellent Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
