
Medical Assistant - Breast Surgery Oncology

- Assist medical team in various tasks, such as taking vitals, preparing exam rooms, and documenting patient information.

Certification As A Medical Assistant: Candidates Should Possess A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant From A Recognized Institution, Demonstrating Competence In Essential Healthcare Tasks Such As Taking Vital Signs, Administering Medication, And Performing Basic Medical Procedures.
Experience In Breast Surgery: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Breast Surgery Setting Is Required For This Position. Candidates Should Be Familiar With Various Surgical Procedures, Patient Preparation, And Post-Operative Care For Breast Surgeries.
Knowledge Of Oncology: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Oncology And Be Familiar With The Diagnosis, Treatment, And Management Of Breast Cancer. This Includes Knowledge Of Chemotherapy, Radiation Therapy, And Other Treatment Options.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills: A Medical Assistant In This Role Will Work Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Required To Build Strong Relationships With Patients And Effectively Communicate Information To The Healthcare Team.
Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills: As A Medical Assistant In A Busy Oncology Practice, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. Candidates Should Be Able To Manage Multiple Tasks Efficiently And Accurately While Maintaining A High Level Of Organization.
