  11. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
  12. Manage and maintain relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
  13. Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  14. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  15. Act as a key liaison between the accounting department and other departments within the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Accounting Or Finance: A Manager Operational Accounting At Highmark Health Should Possess A Strong Educational Background In Accounting Or Finance To Effectively Manage The Financial Operations Of The Organization.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Accounting Or Financial Management: This Role Requires Extensive Experience In Accounting Or Financial Management To Ensure The Accuracy And Efficiency Of Financial Processes And Reporting.

  • Knowledge Of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (Gaap): A Strong Understanding Of Gaap Is Essential For This Position To Ensure Compliance With Accounting Standards And Regulations.

  • Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Manager, This Role Requires Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Accounting Professionals.

  • Experience With Financial Systems And Software: Highmark Health Utilizes Advanced Financial Systems And Software, So Experience With These Tools Is Necessary To Effectively Manage, Analyze, And Report Financial Data.
