- Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical research projects, in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of clinical research professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee the design and execution of clinical research studies, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop protocols, study timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor and track study progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues or delays.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all study documentation, including study protocols, informed consent forms, and data collection forms.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on study progress, results, and any issues that may arise.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as research institutions and vendors.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in clinical research methodology and technology.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and integrity of study data.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement new strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning within the clinical research team.
- Represent the company at conferences and other industry events, promoting our commitment to improving healthcare through research.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and data protection.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: A Manager Clinical Research At Highmark Health Must Have A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Clinical Research, Healthcare Administration, Or Public Health. This Advanced Degree Ensures That The Candidate Has A Strong Theoretical Foundation And Knowledge Of Research Methodology.
Experience In Clinical Research: Highmark Health Requires At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research For A Manager Position. This Includes Experience In Designing, Conducting, And Managing Clinical Trials, As Well As Knowledge Of Regulations And Compliance In Clinical Research.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: As A Manager, This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Team Management Skills. Candidates Should Have Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Researchers, As Well As The Ability To Foster Collaboration And Facilitate Effective Communication Among Team Members.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: A Successful Manager Clinical Research At Highmark Health Must Have Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills. This Includes The Ability To Analyze Complex Data, Identify Trends, And Make Data-Driven Decisions To Drive Research Projects Forward.
