Job Description

Highmark Health is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Labor Relations Specialist to join our team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to management and staff on labor relations matters, including contract negotiations, grievances, and collective bargaining.To be considered for this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in labor relations, human resources, or a related field. In addition, you must have at least 5 years of experience working in a professional labor relations environment. You should also have excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks.If you are an experienced professional looking to make a meaningful contribution to our organization, then we want to hear from you. We are looking for a Labor Relations Specialist who is committed to delivering excellent service and who can work collaboratively as a part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide advice and assistance to management and staff on labor relations matters, including contract negotiations, grievances, and collective bargaining.
  2. Develop and maintain positive relationships with labor union representatives.
  3. Ensure that labor relations strategies are in line with organizational objectives.
  4. Interpret labor contracts and applicable labor laws.
  5. Monitor labor relations activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Develop and implement labor relations policies and procedures.
  7. Develop and conduct training sessions for management and staff on labor relations topics.
  8. Analyze data and develop reports related to labor relations activities.
  9. Assist in the resolution of labor disputes.
  10. Maintain current knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
