
Inpatient Nursing Unit Supervisor
Highmark Health is currently looking for an experienced Inpatient Nursing Unit Supervisor to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the inpatient nursing staff, providing guidance and instruction as needed.
- Oversee daily operations of the inpatient nursing unit, ensuring all patient needs are met and best practices in patient care are implemented.
- Monitor patient satisfaction levels and work with the nursing team to resolve issues and implement changes to improve patient care.
- Develop and maintain effective communication and relationships with physicians, staff, and other healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to inpatient nursing.
- Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure quality patient care.
- Create and implement strategies to recruit, retain, and develop nursing staff.
- Provide training and education to nursing staff to ensure knowledge of best practices and standards.
