Histology Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Perform histological laboratory procedures such as tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting.
2. Perform laboratory tests and analysis of tissue specimens accurately and efficiently.
3. Maintain accurate records of laboratory procedures and results.
4. Ensure the quality of test results and adherence to laboratory safety protocols.
5. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
6. Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure effective operation of the laboratory.
7. Provide superior customer service to patients and other healthcare providers.
8. Troubleshoot any issues that arise in the laboratory.
9. Maintain a safe and secure laboratory environment.
10. Keep up to date with advances in histology and medical laboratory technology.
